ABOUT ME

Hello and thank you very much for visiting Countryside Canada! My name is Galé Ghougassian, a passionate painter who enjoys impressionist and expressionist art and focuses on the beauty of nature, natural light and a myriad of colors and shades. I have been painting since early 2016, and since then my passion has been growing and growing… a lot of my family and friends admire my artwork and have encouraged me to display my paintings to the public.

Most of the inspirations have resulted from the wonderful works of Spanish painter Sorolla and French painter Monet. Their perception of light, shapes and depth have helped me to see the beauty of nature differently and encouraged me to capture the amazing Canadian nature through my personal imagination.

All the artworks produced are the result of imaginary places that may have never existed. The pursuit of beauty and appreciation to Canadian nature have helped me achieve these beautiful pieces.
